In agricultural production, insect nets can not only prevent pests from entering the shed, but also regulate air temperature, soil temperature and humidity. What should we pay attention to when using the greenhouse insect net?

1. Selected varieties of insect-proof net covering cultivation are mainly in summer and autumn high temperature seasons, and vegetable varieties that are heat-resistant, moisture-resistant and disease-resistant should be selected.
 2. Reasonable selection of nets The temperature in the white net is higher than that of the silver-gray net and the black net. The silver-gray mesh has the effect of avoiding aphids, and it is recommended to use 22 mesh silver-grey mesh in production.
3. There are two types of isolation cultivation with proper coverage of insect-proof nets: full-net coverage cultivation and net and film-covered cultivation.
 (1) Whole net covering cultivation is the whole shed covering insect-proof net, which can be divided into greenhouse covering, medium and small shed covering and flat shed covering according to the form of scaffolding.
 (2) In summer and autumn with high temperature, little rain, and windy conditions, use the whole net covering cultivation; even in cloudy and rainy days, use the net and film covering cultivation. Insect-proof nets have a low shading rate. Covering cultivation in summer and autumn will not cause insufficient light for vegetables. Insect-proof nets should be covered throughout the growth period to cut off the intrusion of pests. When covering the net, the insect-proof net is tightly compacted around it to prevent pests from sneaking in and laying eggs.
 4. Strengthen the management of applying enough base fertilizer and reduce the number of top-dressing fertilizers. Watering and fertilizing can be poured outside the net or irrigated in furrows. Where conditions permit, drip irrigation and micro-sprinkler irrigation can be used to minimize the number of operations in the net. Pull the net to cover the shed immediately after entering and leaving the net, remove the pest egg masses hanging on the net or in the field in time, and repair the net and membrane in time if they are damaged. In sunny, hot and high temperature weather, take measures such as sunshade and irrigation to cool down.
